Intro to Oil Painting and Drawing Tutorials

I wanted a place to share all the knowledge and wisdom I have accrued throughout my 26 years of painting where I have successfully found my own, unique, color language and personal, graceful drawing prowess. My Blog sharing will increase to full blown video tutorials, but to start, I would like to introduce myself.

I am an Expressionist oil painter. I have been drawing for my entire life, painting for 26 years, selling my art for 21 years and teaching both painting and drawing for 11 years.

Conte Drawing
Two Pears by Margaret Zox Brown - Conte Drawing

In the videos that will follow, I will reveal why and how I do all that I do.

So, if you are someone who has always wanted to learn just how to draw and paint, these videos will be the perfect, sequential teaching tool for you where you will not only learn literal techniques but you will hear about and be able to take in more abstract theories of color, drawing and art.

Or, if you are a collector or an art enthusiast, these videos will expose you to a thorough “behind the scenes” from a real artist.

Thanks and stay tuned…
